Along the Way we will came across beautiful churches but sometimes it happens that we have to content ourselves with just the exterior because they are closed. However, we can celebrate that those that are normally closed will be open during summertime!

This great new is the result of an agreement between the Galician Government and the ecclesiastical entities. The main objective of this project is to share the patrimony with everybody specially with hundreds of pilgrims. But they are not just opening the doors, they will also have skilled personnel that can show and illustrate us about these temples (they will only close one day a week as day off).

Where can I find the open temples? You will find open ones on the French, Portuguese, Vía de Plata, Camino de Invierno, Camino Primitivo, the English Way and of course in Santiago de Compostela.
