DAY BY DAY

  • Day 01: Arrival at the airport of Seville and transfer to a hotel in the city centre. Today, we will see the first images of the city and enjoy a walk before dinner at a restaurant in the quarter known as Triana, next to the River Guadalquivir.

  • Day 02: We will spend the morning studying the magnificent cathedral and its tower, La Giralda. We will also visit the gardens of Los Reales Alcázares. We will go to the quarter known as Santa Cruz, the Archive of the Indies and enjoy a boat trip along the River Guadalquivir. In the afternoon, we will have free time to visit other places in the city, such as the Island of La Cartuja.

  • Day 03: We travel south through the countryside of Andalusia and arrive at Jerez de la Frontera, famous for its sherry wine and equestrian sports. After visiting a winery, we travel to the Port of Santa María, where we catch a ferry and cross the bay to Cadiz. We will walk around this Atlantic city and discover its cathedral and colourful plazas, such as that of La Mina.

  • Day 04: We leave the city of Cadiz and travel to Ronda, passing through the ‘white villages’ of Andalusia and the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Reserve. Here, we will enjoy a small hiking route before setting off for the pretty town of Ronda. We must take particular note of its whimsical location on top of a cliff and its bullfighting culture. We will visit the bullring, which is the oldest in Spain.

  • Day 05: We travel to another white village, Antequera, and enjoy the peace and quiet of everyday life. We will see the streets and the most attractive places, such as the Citadel, before setting off for the whimsical rocky formations of El Torcal de Antequera. We then set off for the city of Granada and stay near the magnificent Alhambra Palace. We will visit the popular quarter of El Albaicín and enjoy dinner while watching a Flamenco music and dance show.

  • Day 06: We spend the day in the city of Granada. In the morning, we will visit the Alhambra Palace, which is the best example of Moslem architecture in Spain; we will visit the Citadel, the Nazarí Palaces and the Generalife. Set on high, it offers incredible views of the city and Sierra Nevada. In the afternoon, we will visit other places in the city in our own time.

  • Day 07: We set off for Cordoba, where we will visit the fantastic Mosque, which, like the Alhambra Palace, was designated a World Heritage Site. Today, the Mosque of Cordoba is also home to the city’s cathedral. We will also visit the Jewish Quarter, a network of narrow streets that unveil beautiful typical courtyards as we walk. We will enjoy a lunch of local specialities. We will have free time in the evening to discover other beautiful places in the city on the banks of the River Guadalquivir.

  • Day 08: After breakfast, we travel to the airport of Seville and that marks the end of our services.
